Post by: Philip kelly on 2019-03-05, 14:44:19
Hi

As per the attache, would you model a section and scatter it?
Big floor area, so whats the best method?

Thank you

IMO, PBR surface/textures & modular approach.

I would model a section and then railcone it. Free version should be enough for this task.

I think railclone actually comes with a preset for it

I do have question.
I have modeled the objects I want scattered.

 1. Why Railclone , why not forest pro and a grid?
 2. I have to attach all the objects, poly edit and attach, and then attach them to the itools set.

Thank you again.

If you want random scatter than forest works fine. If theres a specific set of rules such as every 3 lights theres a air vent then railclone would be the best bet.
