Hi
i'm new to corona render and i love it !! i have a problem, don't know how to do it without "blinks / white pixels"
setup: PTS 16 MSI 100, HD pt samples 1024
ps. yes, scene is very similar for one from forum, i love it and i want to test if i can make something like it :)

You can try unchecking sun's "visible to reflections" or change materials reflectivity/bump value to get rid of those fireflies.
-
Sun visibility should not make noise in this case... Probably solid glass used in windows... Damn those old defaults...
And why is there MSI 100 again? Why does everyone raise MSI like it was the first thing they need to do ?
-
Because more = better. ;)
Maybe Keymaster should change this parameter's name to "fireflies factor" or something so that people would actually try to turn it down intuitively?
-
at moment i'm testing this area with MSI 0, 20, 40. forget to write that i'm using only VrayHDRI map as lighting
-
Remove glass from the door/windows, and test it then...
-
This is without glass in windows, MSI=20, 45passes and it looks good, love corona :D
i find out that if you set map in bump with blur value less than 1 it starts to make those firepixels, i do not check it, i convert manually materials from vray
-
What is refraction mode of that glass you have hidden? Solid, hybrid or twosided?
-
i find out tips on forum, now it's thin and model is simple poly, before that i have 2mm and one window have 2 glasses in it (like real ones) render time was long, now it's way faster.
