Hello friends,
i really need some help cause i can't find the solution. I've modeled a room with windows to test Corona, and everything seems to be OK. Except for the ceiling. It's just remains too dark, too grey for my sunny scene. I've tried a lot but nothing worked. Can anyone help me out with that? It would be great!!!! :-) PS: i've added a preview, check for yourself...

Try adding a ground plane outside. The sun has nothing to reflect off of, therefore the only light in the room is the direct sunlight.

Thanks for your reply!
I've added a ground plane and tried some materials and light source on the plane, but it changed nearly nothing. Exept that with your trick, white areas are beginning to appear (Thanks for that!) But I don't understand this phenomenon at all. I can do what i want, my ceiling remains in darkness... :-D
ANYWAY....Cheers!!!

what's your ceiling material?
-
maybe you may share your scene, it will be faster to solve issue
-
As for me it looks like there is no sky, just sun.
-
overlapping geometry/double faces maybe?
-
Turn reflections off completely and set the material to just white. To test, could be the floor needing an GI override. Also send a wire frame + viewport picture of your scene setup

Showing material setup could help.
If you place a light under the ceiling, does it get brighter?
