Title: Internal error in NVIDIA AI denoiser
Post by: Andre_3D on 2018-12-06, 00:58:44
I installed the official version today, and whenever I open the interactive render it gives this error, it saying that the denoiser can't initialize. In the DB this worked OK, now it doesn't work anymore. I would like to solve. Could someone help me, please?
I'm using the 3D Max 2019 / GTX 1080ti

Please try the solutions listed here, with installing the newest driver as the first step: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000048205

So, I installed the Nvidia driver by Experience (clean install), and it says that is the latest: 417.22, and I'd the offline installation of Nvidia AI denoise. That should install OptiX denoiser, but the error persists. A friend said that it only worked when he formatted the HDD. Is it a bug in the windows registry?

This is more likely to be an issue with the denoiser libraries. You are not the only one having this issue. For now, there's no known fix if the steps Maru mentioned didn't help.
You could, of course, try reinstalling Windows but there's no guarantee.
What you may want to try, however, is uninstalling your GPU drivers completely and cleaning them out of the system with a tool like DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) then reinstalling the drivers from scratch.

That's what I did (clean install) ... it doesn't work.

Is this still an issue?
Do you have some other renderers installed along with Corona? (e.g. V-Ray, Octane, Maxwell?)
