Hello, since I installed Corona 3, I'm experiencing blue screen crash quite often.
It happens during interactive rendering in VFB while tweaking materials. At first I thought it was when changing hdri because that was the first few experiences, but now it's happening when tweaking different maps too.
(also I have fast preview denoise turned off)
My pc:
Corona 3
3ds Max 2018
Windows 10
i7-8700K
Geforce GTX 1070
64GB RAM

A "blue screen of death" can never be caused by Corona (or Max, for that matter, as far as I now) - usually those are caused by graphics drivers, temperatures, and other hardware related issues (potentially, quite often temperature, since rendering puts all the parts of the machine to full use). I'd check temperatures, and try some stress tests on the machine to see if the same happens there.

Thanks for fast response. Temperatures are fine, even in a heavy load and graphic drivers are latest.
I wrote here because this wasn't happening with the previous version.

Previous versions didn't utilize GPU during interactive rendering and now it does. Could you try to disable "fast preview denoise" checkbox in render setup performance tab and see if BSODs persists? Maybe your GPU is failing?
-
Also make sure you are using the newest GPU driver from nvidia.com.
-
Ok, I wrote it before, but I suppose I can do that again: I have latest gpu drivers and I render with fast gpu denoise disabled (it's interesting feature but in tweaking materials not that useful).
-
I am not sure if we can help in this case. It seems to be a problem specific to your hardware. I can only recommend updating all drivers, running stress tests.
Blue screens are not an issue related to Corona. Otherwise we would be getting many reports like this from our users.

Can you say what exact error are you getting on the BSOD? Like "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" or some error code? This may help in figuring out what may be failing.

Though we should note, it still won't be caused by Corona :)
