Title: Siger XSMP help

Hi

I can´t get material preview rendering to work. Sooner when I clicked render material preview, scene opened and preview was rendering, now the only thing that happens is that it seems like the scene is opening but nothing happens. Could anybody help with this?

When did this start happening? After updating to V3?
Have you already contacted Siger support?

It happened during using V3 daily builds as well. I tried to contact Siger support almost week ago with no answer yet

thanks a lot maru! I tried contacting them again with no luck.

here is my issue described in screenshots

Firstly I choose from preset scenes the one I want to use to create previews

Then check the material I want to create preview for, right click, render material preview, then it seems the scene is loading but I end up in empty untitled scene with no sign (progress bar) or whatever that would indicate that the preview was created

Hi,
sorry for the delay - I am very busy at the moment (from scratch start new major XSMP version, other projects...).

Please check directory C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Siger Studio\XSMPmax for folder "RenderBuffer"
If folder not exists, create C:\Users\<USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Siger Studio\XSMPmax\RenderBuffer

Sometime it is installer issues (I will probably be forced to use another installer maker or write my own :) ).

Another reminder that your installer never works on my workstation. It always forces me to manually uninstall the current version first. I did send you some emails about this but in the end I've given up trying to upgrade as it's too frustrating.

Hi Alex,
yes, it is known issue. This is a serious headache :/
