Title: Strange volumetric effect

Hello. One question. What is it? Some fog, atmospheric effect or what? I have daylight setup+coronasky. Progressive PT+HD. And portal. Maybe i miss smth? Object in the scene don't effect to this strange moment. :// Sorry for the bad quality/

check emission of the material, or Diffuse color (should not be extremely high)

either the albedo is high, or there are some light leaks from HD cache. Try rendering it with PT+PT for reference, or decreasing albedo

Nothing helps with it. Albedo change and nothing. On this picture is default albedo, i'll make a 0.8 and lower.But no result. I made it with PT+PT and it wasn't help.
I attache my scene. Max 2014 + Alpha 5
There is one material for walls and ceiling. With no reflection and emission.

I just tried the scene, and it behaves how it should - it is just GI effect. Decreasing the excessive albedo (which was 255 in one component) makes it darker, as one would expect.

Hi, i took a look at your scene just to be sure, and here is a few hints:

1, Poor modeling...  i have merged scene into new one, with just bright gray material, to minimize any setup errors. I have removed sky and any lights, and left there sun only. As you can see on the picture attached below, your geometry is leaking somewhere, so the modeling is not perfect. You should always make sure your interior is air-tight so no light can leak through.

2, Albedo... As keymaster already mentioned, you should not use superbright materials... Materials with value over RGB 220 220 200 appear only very rarely in nature.

3, Your scene was very far from origin. Do not do that, always have your scene as close to scene origin as possible, to avoid problems...

4, It seems that some of the content you uploaded with the scene is copyrighted, such as models and textures. Never upload copyrighted material publicly anywhere, because you could get in serious problems with the companies that created this content.

After cleaning it up, and sealing the holes in the model, everything works properly.
