Having an issue currently where some of my saved EXR's aren't opening in Photoshop. If I save them as 16 BIT Exr's they work fine?
-
any files or screens with settings what you saved files?

Photoshop's native exr plugin doesn't support full float (32 bit). To get this, you have to buy the ProExr plugin. I recommend using a program like Nuke when working with full float images.

Photoshop is supporting EXR but only one layer, also it can save full float but only in PSD, EXR it saves only in half float. There is free openEXR loader for photoshop, or with arionFX.
But still is should open file without plugins.
Affinity Photos have better support of EXR format.

Sprayer is right, Photoshop does open full-float .exrs just fine, just doesn't save them as full-float.
Nuke really isn't solution for people who make 99perc. still images and want single stop post-production package for both compositing and retouch. I think we'll all eventually swap to Affinity for this due to its superior 32bit support unless Adobe wakes up.

Just to add, I think it's a Photoshop issue. I've always saved 32-bit EXR's in exactly the same way for years and never had this issue, seems to be happening after a recent Photoshop update.
