Hi all,
I noticed that every time we open a scene which probably is made with a previous daily build version of Corona the Round Edge values are messed up.
For example, if I put a round edge of 2mm on a material and I open it with a different daily build version, I found the value 10x times bigger. Something like 2 meters...
Thanks,

This happens usually when 3dsMax system units change. It would be disconcerning if it happened due to bug :- O.
One way 3dsMax can stupidly change units without your knowledge, is when you open two scenes at same time, or open one and close one at same time (without succession of at least a micro-second). This will load default settings in your second session.

Thanks for getting back and for your comments.
The fact is that our system unit is always on meters and I can't find out why those values change very often.
And it doesn't happen cause we open two scenes in the same time...
I prefer to report it as a bug in case it is. :)
You guys alright?
Take care,

And I add: The mode from precise turns to fast by it's own...
Thanks.

Hi Dionysios, can you tell us more about those issues? Do you have exact steps how to reproduce this in Corona 3?
-
I haven't seen this yet, and almost all of our models use rounded edges maps. Would be very interested to see this investigated to learn how to avoid it.

Hi guys.
I small update:
I didn't notice this behaviour with the 3.0 version.
With the previous ones the problem was this:
Merging models from other files, was breaking the round Edge settings and I've noticed it a lot of times.
Is not a scale setup problem as all our scenes and models have the same scale which is meters.
I will update this post the next time will happen (if it will...) and I'll give you more detail info about it.
Thanks for now,
Dionysios -

I am not closing this yet. Let's wait a bit. And then close it. ;)

Very kind! Thanks for this.

It seems it had to be some daily build compatibility issue.
Never experienced this myself, and also I can't recall any similar report from users.
Closing, but please report if it ever happens again.

Hi Maru,
still didn't notice this behaviour anymore.
let's close it and in case I see something I'll let you know.
Thanks as always,
