Title: Corona 2sided Material like in Vray
Post by: artmaknev on 2013-12-14, 05:26:51
Hi all, I see alot of great renders done with corona and decided to give it a try too.
I usually render interiors with many lamp shades, and use vray 2sided material alot, was wondering if this material is also available in corona?

You don't need it, just use translucency.

You only really need 2 sided for things like certain tree leaves that have different tops and bottoms.

cheers

This still doesn't answer the question. I google 2 sided material and this comes up top of the list. Please can you explain how to create 2 sided materials?

There is actualy no this kind of material, only  CoronaFrontBack map. But it's possible to use it as a mask in Blend or CoronaLayered material if you want to use totaly different materials from different sides of polygons. Or you can use some shades of gray or maps to mix front and back materials

Here is example
