Hello team.
I bring you a doubt.
When using C4D lights is there the possibility of being able to manipulate the shadows?
always come out with a hard cut, I would like them to be soft
The lus I'm using is focus light
-
If you are looking for soft shadows.... increase the size of light, small light size creates hard shadows.

I think it does not explain me well ... I'm using 4D cinema lights, not Corona
I'm using focus and the shadows are hard, I think I should use area light to avoid that
-
May I ask why you're using C4D lights and not Corona? Of course you have every right to, just wondering. ;)

I saw some tutorials where they say that Corona accepts lights from C4D, and I wanted to try directional lights to see its termination.
I think!! that if corona accepts this type of lights it is for something ..... and for that reason I used it.
Now, seeing that Corona accepts these lights and how he wanted to play with the shadows was doing tests.
Some time ago in this forum I asked if only CORONA lights should be used, and I
They put the links of the videos where it is accepted.
What do you advise me, do not use them, and only work with CORONA lights?
-
Thanks ODDVISIONARY,
then do not pay attention to those videos.
I will only use corona lights with that render engine
-
@ oddvisionary: Use the SPREAD option in Corona light for more directionality.
"SPREAD", means ? new to me.... I am not seeing any spread option in Corona Light ?
Thanks.
