Title: using Neatscatter droplets on bottle- memory probs
Post by: tom182 on 2018-10-29, 14:27:39
Hi Folks
I am using Neatscatter to place droplets on a bottle,
it renders in Vray and makes the droplets instances, Droplets do not render in Corona unless i convert to mesh or instances, I am familiar with Vray proxy and its great memory saving - i know Corona has a proxy tool but read that it doesn't save memory at rendering, what is the best way to manage a thousands of droplets on a bottle in Corona from a rendering/memory point of view?
thanks
T

Why don't you use corona scatter?

Corona proxy only save speed of viewport, that's all, instancing is only memory saving method

Another option would be using pflow, or some other tool.
We will look into Neatsctter support.
