Title: Corona Camera object - Shutter offset cant be set to -1
Post by: Jpjapers on 2018-09-13, 15:16:26
The shutter offset control on the camera has a minimum of 0 rather than -1 as specified in the tooltip.

Just out of curiosity what does this setting do?
I only noticed the bug when poking around with camera settings in IR to see what could be done.

If set to a non-zero value, biases the motion blur to be earlier or later in frame. A value of zero is essentially 'center on frame'.

Interesting. What would be a use case for something like that?

Here is an example: http://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/render/blur.html
Basically renderers simulate various parameters of real life cameras (DSLRs, film cameras, etc.), and shutter offset is one of them.
