Title: Where is the density map on Corona Scatter?
Post by: jpmartin on 2018-09-07, 16:38:26
I'm trying to use corona scatter and it looks like the density map slot option is missing.  Can anyone help point it out for me?

Look at the surface scattering rollout. Density spinner that is highlighted in your screenshot, actually is distribution parameter used when there's multiple distribute-on objects used. It determines how many instances gets each distribute-on object.

To devs - i think naming can be improved here, as it can be confusing for newcommers.

Ah, i see it now. In Surface Scattering, under random distribution there is a Map slot.  Thanks for the help!
