Title: Interiors
Post by: AngeloFerretti on 2018-08-04, 13:10:34
Hi everyone! Here you can see some of my last interior renderings made with Corona Renderer for Cinema 4D, with a final touch of Photoshop. Most of them are inspired by photos found around the web. I hope you like them!

If you want to see more of these projects go to my website: http://www.starflyt.com/angeloferretti/ from where you can also buy these scenes with textures and settings.

All the best from Italy!

I have already seen your work before, they are looking really realistic and very natural. The color choice is on point. Really my taste! You know your job and for sure great to see people working with C4D too :)

Today will be shopping day at Angelo´s. :)

Such phantastic works!
That Chinese exterior is simply mad - what an attention for detail!

For me, Angelo is the best C4D-Corona artist at the moment.

I love your eye for natural lighting, use of color, textures and patterns. Very Scandinavian. As well as camera angels, lens choice and depth of field. And your materials are top notch!

My only critiques...your wrinkles are over the top. Pillows look fantastic but the couch cushions on the first few images are just too much, and too crisp.

The one image that has two vases with flowers (one on the floor), it is evident that it is the same vase just scaled differently. Needs just a tiny bit of variation, in glass material (maybe some dirt), or shape, or at least in the water level.

The one with the red chair...the corner of the wall is too sharp for a wall with that much texture. Unless it is actually a wallpaper made to look like an old textured wall, but then all the dirt on the mirror and chair don't make as much sense. And the double hung window is backwards. The bottom casing should be on the inside and the upper casing should be on the outer side.

And lastly, the images with the wrinkled rug, this has quickly become way overdone in 3d renders (IMHO). I would not permit it in my home. (would you?) It's a hazard. And I certainly wouldn't allow it if I were actually photographing an interior. Except only in the case where there is a dog or a cat or a baby or something in the image to complete the story on why it is wrinkled. The others with a blue rug and just a little bit of wrinkle are just fantastic!

All in all, this is a fine set of work. You have dedicated a ton of time on these I am sure. And there are always some things we would all like to tweak but eventually you have to say enough and just hit render. I cannot say any of my renders are better.

Also I really like that glass coffee table. Specifically the polished edges. I haven't figured out exactly how to get the refraction looking that good. I usually just give the edge a frosted/etched glass texture and call it a day but I wish I could do better.
