Has anyone had backburner errors from high poly Renderpeople models that have been converted to Corona proxies? Thanks
-
What kind of errors? Did proxies were created and then loaded in the same Corona version or did they come from different versions?
-
Backburner gives me an adapter error code -2. Yes, the proxy was created from an older Corona version. When I delete the proxy, it renders. When I delete everything except the proxy, it renders. And when I recreate the proxy with the latest corona version, it renders. So I guess it could be the combination of an old proxy and other objects which are preventing the render from starting? Just kinda hard to pinpoint the problem is older proxies? Is there a way to check for older proxies?

Proxy format has been changed between versions. Generally it should be backward compatible, but if proxy is very old, then it's possible, that something somwhere has gone wrong. If resaving proxies to new format solves the problem, then it would be best solution to do so.
I don't know if it's possible to know in which version proxie was created, but it would be interesting to know.

ok got it thx! perhaps a message indicating the cgeo file has a date modified prior to the latest version release?

Agree, warning message that legacy proxy was detected, could be useful. I'll make a feature request.
