Title: Perfomance Confusion i7-950 vs i7-2630QM

Hi folks! I have two computers desktop (i7-950) and laptop (i7-2630QM). Windows and 3ds max versions absolutely indentical. Recently I've tested one scene on both machines.

So I was very surprised when saw that my laptop did my desktop (1.3 times faster)! Is it normal?

It could be faster if it is a newer architecture. But just to be certain...  make sure you have identical 3ds Max versions updated to last service pack, and make sure that on both your machines, bitmap paging in asset tracker is turned off.

Everything is identical.
Tested my i7-950 CPU on Alpha4 Benchmark. It has the same shitty results :(
I have only 6Gb RAM, could it be a lack of memory?
