I am trying to hack together some caustics for an animation. Looking for something similar to title

Did you try Warp Texture plugin? https://www.maxplugins.de/max2018.php?search=warp+texture&sort=Author

I had searched but the 2017 in the filename threw me off.

If you have BerconMaps installed, the BerconMapping map does this too.

Thanks Marcin, good to know. I avoided the mapping map for years because it kept crashing but I'll try again.
