Hi all, when I use CoronaBitmap I notice the Blur Filtering doesn't work at all. I change it from the default 1.0 value to 10 and the result is always the same. Maybe is a bug...
Thanks,

Works fine here. Maybe try with different texture? I noticed that 4K tiff is blurring almost instantaneously, while 256 px bmp is doing so with noticeable delay. It might be that you have some unusual texture and it's worth to send it to the team for investigation. Also what's your Corona version?

Thanks for getting back, it happens with HDRI files in the Env. slot.
Their size is minimum 5K or 8K.
Thanks!

Ah yes indeed, i can confirm that.

I loaded an HDRI env image with Corona Bitmap and the Blur value still doesn't work.

I tested it myself and am pretty sure it is fixed. Can you try with the newest build? (currently 14.09)

Ok, I tried with the newest build 14/09: T
The Blur value works with all kinds of bitmaps but when a HDRI map is loaded, it gets blurred when is seen as an environment but when is used as lighting source the Blur value has no effect.
I guess is normal?
Thanks again,
