The topic talks for itself.
I´m rendering a scene with material and objectID passes. For some reason they never get saved. They are enabled and have correct paths.
Saving them from the frame buffer is not working either because they are unfiltered there even thought they´re supposed to be filtered.
Am I missing something?

How do you stop the render?

Hello,
I´ve tried stopping by letting it complete time and pass limit. I´ve also hit the and rendered with Backburner and split scanlines.
At one point the passes actually got saved, but I have no idea how that was done.
Cheers!

I'm also having this issue. I managed to get the render elements to come up when i hit stop but they're empty, no information in them.
How doe's everyone else render passes/elements?
Cheers,

I was wondering why sometimes it works and sometimes it wont. SO.
I saw that if I press F9 from 3ds max -> wont save any elements.
But if I press Render from F10-settings -> they will be saved, as long as the save-to-folders are correct.
Sometimes I forget to press Render from F10 and get mad... Have to re-render then.

If you have access to dailies, then there's no need to rerender it again. Just press resume last under actions tab, let it run for a couple seconds and stop it. Presto! Your render elements are saved now :]
