Hello everyone,
I'm having problem using corona image editor. I saved my render as .exr and .cxr, including all lightmix elements, but when i load them to corona image editor, they are not there anymore.
-
So you set up a scene with LightMix in 3ds Max and then rendered it.
Then you saved the render as .cxr - right?
How exactly did you save it? (what button did you click, where)
-
If you're adjusting the lightmix then the frame buffer will change from 'BEAUTY' to 'Interactive Lightmix' - at which point any saves will be for what is displayed ONLY!
So you need to make sure you save in BEAUTY to .cxr for everything to be kept.
I've made this mistake on some very long renders... not again!

Hi, can you share the CXR so we can investigate it? You can use our private uploader for that: https://corona-renderer.com/upload

Hi, what CIE version do you use? Isn't it lower than Corona version used to render the CXR?
-
Ive had the same problem before a few versions ago and found it happened sometimes if i slicked save then changed the format to cxr rather than long clicking save and selecting save CXR

Yup, that may be a confusing. We have an internal task to fix/improve this.

I just did this again today and lost a couple hours - but now makes sense after reading the above.
Fingers crossed this behaviour gets fixing in rc4.
