Problem over the past few weeks…
I've been modelling a clothing store, where the clothes (T-Shirts) on hangers have been cloned from a single element…
When rendering in Corona, some of the clones wouldn't render…
Nothing I would do would make them render other than making the cloner an editable object...
After much hair tearing and teeth gnashing, I have discovered that the "Level of detail" setting in the standard render settings is affecting the amount of cloners rendered in Corona!
1.
Clones setup…
Standard renderer set as render engine…
"Level of detail" set to 50% in standard render settings…
Switch to Corona as the renderer…
Render
Only a few of the clones render…
2.
Standard renderer set as render engine…
"Level of detail" set to 100%
Switch to Corona as the renderer…
Render…
All clones render!
Is this a deliberate action for Corona or a bug?
Thanks

Was this for a preview render or a final render? I don't see how the level of detail is related to Corona as this action is inactive when switching from the standard renderer. The only way I was able to replicate a few clones to render (preview) was by changing the level of detail (LOD) in the viewport options and then activating use render LOD for editor rendering. Can you replicate this with just the clones alone and supply a scene for us to look at? https://corona-renderer.com/upload
