Title: Problems with renderpath and lightmix, please help
Post by: JoachimArt on 2018-04-17, 08:12:24
I have a problem, whenever I add lightmix to a scene I'm getting the "error creating file output" message, and I have to manually assign each light to the correct folder.
I believe the reason for this is because corona lightmix defaults for a folder that doesn't exists, because I'm using oneDrive as my default documents folder and, and when installing 3ds Max it automatically directs all file paths to OneDrive (which is what I want), but Corona does not.

Where can I change which folder Corona defaults to?

hi, i have no idea about corona default folder. But you can get rid of "error creating file output" RE error with this
DionchStudio_SetOutputPathAllRE.ms (https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=15087.msg96406#msg96406)
you can set output path to desired custom path or just simply clear it.

thanks, yeah I actually checked that page and all my user paths are ok. Only corona makes its own paths that are not part of the other render paths. Probably because One Drive changes the default Documents folder. Only after I started using the OneDrive Documents backups has this been a problem with corona.
