Title: Camera Mapping in Beta1
Post by: BigAl3D on 2018-04-11, 22:59:07
So I see a Camera Projection option in the Corona Camera tag. Is there a quick video on how to use this technique? I can't seem to find one. How different is it that C4D's Camera Mapping function? Do the Corona tag allow for simple camera moves so you get a little more 3D effect?

I have a still image that I build simple geometry inorder to get some spheres bouncing into the photo's objects to make it appear 3D.

Thanks for any help.

This should explain the use of the projection modes:

Thanks for the reply, but I think you misunderstood my question. I'm referring to taking a still image, adding simple geometry shapes that line up with the photo. In C4D renderer, there is a tag call Camera Mapping/Projection which projects the image onto the simple geometry which make these shapes disappear. Then I add dynamic objects that appear to bounce off of the geometry. Here is an example I made for my son's school to show them some of the things I do. Does the embed feature not work here? If not, just copy and paste the URL.
