Title: Environment HDRI rotate in the viewport
Post by: Alina Hramyka on 2018-04-10, 10:32:29
Would be great to control environment HDRI rotation directly in the viewport, so no need to open Material Editor each time

or even better - please add override HDRI environment rotate parameter in the Corona Camera, so each camera will have its own sun position

Thanks!

I am pretty sure the 1st thing can be done with the magic of 3ds Max slider (helpers > manipulators) and wiring parameters. :)

The 2nd thing with per-camera enviro override sounds a bit too invasive to me. It would be easy to forget which camera is using which settings, and then you could accidentally render a view with incorrect lighting.

But I cannot say "no". ;)

Exactly. One can do that in a custom maxstart, to avoid redoing it parameters wiring over and over again :)

Wow - thank you!
helpers > manipulators > wiring parameters works great
the only issue is when you delete slider occasionally - is it possible to prevent it from deletion? freeze wont help
