Title: Dragging bitmaps from Windows file explorer very slow

I've noticed when I drag bitmaps from Windows file explorer window into the Corona bitmap bitmap slot it takes a long time to load in. Any way to speed this up?

Is it any faster if you change renderer to scanline and drag the same bitmaps?
