Title: Disable Displacement in Corona for C4D
Post by: martinfdc on 2018-03-09, 15:35:30
How can I disable displacement in Corona for C4D?

I want to disable it for all materials. The must be a setting somewhere...

You can turn it off in the material settings.

If you want to do it all at once you can select your mats and just uncheck displacement.

But then it will be problematic to turn them back one, in each material one by one I guess...
In 3ds Max there is a global "displacement" switch. If there isn't something like this in C4D, I think it would be a nice addition to Corona for C4D and we should report it as a feature request.

No, enabling is just as fast as disabling them. Selecting all and dis-/enable.Takes a second. If a material doesn't have a displacement map added, there isn't any displacement, even if the option is turned on.

A global displacement override would be nice though. We have the "preserve displacement option", so the override shouldn't be that much of a problem.
