Title: Bump or dirt noise....?

Hi,

No idea which science I need to get nice bumps. I use to get like wall stucco but getting like a dirty noise....! I was not excepting this result which I got. May be this will be fine if seeing from far but when object render at 5k for print, dont think its good for that.

Is the Bump fixed properly.....?

And IR... at 4k or 5k.... every time IR window goes out of screen and reduce window size again and again is another pain, it not better stay window in same size just inside image increase.

Getting black splotches instead of bump even at 100% strength....!

Bump with texture works well and at 100% strength I think height should be little more.

Request to developer.... to recheck the noise with bump.

Hi there, Are you able to share your file with the black spots or give steps/settings to recreate it?

Below are my tests: the stucco noise scale was reduced to 10% along with the delta scale, bump 100%.

In the metal... I am seeing only line.... no bump dept is there...!
Bump works well with bitmap texture, with noise and any other its just splotches or just lines.
see attached, with noise and with texture.

The file I gave was only looking at the stripes bump. I'm still looking into this one among other things. If I can ask more about the scene?

What is the look you are going after? Do you plan on having the bump that large on your mesh? I'll continue to look into it though ;)

bump like in my first post (vray).
For depth using Displacement and for stucco I am using using bump which I am not getting.

Well the closest I have got to the vray result was by decreasing the strength of the bump, lowering the scale of the noise and reducing the delta scale.
