Nice tutorial. The topic of caustics has already been raised on the forum a few times.
One thing to note is that some of the features will not work with the experimental engine (e.g. glass absorption), and it may be unstable (don't even try running IR :) ).
"Proper" caustics are planned for V3 - https://trello.com/b/EfPE4kPx/corona-road-map-3ds-max
