Hi guys,
we are in the middle of a big deadline, we have to render out 15 images from 15 different scenes in the next 48 hours and I would love to know if there is any batch plugin or script to organize everything easly.
Please let me know uif you have any suggestion.
Best,
Dan

Some examples of network/local rendering managers:
-Autodesk Backburner

Hello,
You can check 3dsmax command line rendering for this.
Or use a script provided with 3dsmax years ago, so certainly not really optimal, but worth trying (enclosed).

Hi Maru,
Can we submit several scenes (various .max files) at once with BackBurner ? AFAIK that would imply to open each scene / submit / open scene / submit ... and so on. Or am I missing something ?
I guess it's possible with Deadline, but we don't use it (unfortunately).

Unfortunately my knowledge of Backburner and Deadline are very limited, and those are only render manages I know of (maybe I could think of one or two more).
If you need some more info, some user experienced with those should be able to help, or in case of Deadline I would advise to contact their support - they are super responsive and provide great help.

Deadline is extremly powerful, I worked with it for several years but where I am now they don't have it.
Backburner was an option but I could not use the distribuite render so quite useless.
What i had in mind was a script, like the batch render there is already in max, that opens - render and close one after the other all the max scene.
I cheked on script spot but there is nothing usable for max 2018..
@NicolasC, I have tried to install the macro you suggested me but I think it's not working, I mean nothing appears..

You just have to assign it to a button in a toolbar or in quad menu or whatever. Go to Customize UI, you'll find it in the Maxscript Tools category.

What do you mean here? You can submit a scene with slaves enabled to a node, the node rendering the job picks up dr slaves as configured.
Good Luck

Exactly. That's we regularly do here, that works like a charm. The only downside I discover, is that the machine the job is submitted to actually uses a workstation license, not a render node one ... pretty annoying !!
