Hello :)
While we're very pleased with all the overrides possibilities the Corona Camera offers, we still miss something: resolution ! would it be possible to implement an Override Resolution section, like this http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/camera-resolution-mod (http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/camera-resolution-mod) ? it would be VERY useful ... I know one can use the 3dsmax Batch Render for this, but not very convenient, all the more that this way, proper safe frame can't be displayed when we select the camera that would require resolution override !
What do you guys think ?
Thanks.

No one ?

I have requested this for a couple of times.
Would love this feature.

Ahh I feel less lonely now, thanks Johan :)
You have requested this a couple of times, did you get any answer ?
-
Yes, that would be awesome!

nope. Someone suggested to make use of Scene states.
But I am not a fanboy of scene states.

Pff really ?? Scene States can be useful, but globally I prefer avoiding them as well. For something like resolution override, we definitely need something straight, simple, no hassle - directly in the camera parameters for example :P
Any thought from Render Legion guys, please ?

I actually answered this few times on the forum, the problem is that this is not doable with 3dsmax without any pretty wild hacks. The script AFAIK fails in few cases. We will do it though, if we decide to go the full-hack way with out of core VFB, then it will be "free"

Oh ok, thank you Ondra. Sorry, I didn't know you had answered this several times. Thanks for your efforts, it's something very important for us.
Regards.

Hello,
Finally found some time to test it further, it seems the script doesn't work with BackBurner ... I installed it on the nodes obviously ;) It's really something we'd love to get for daily work ! this and a true batch rendering tool, but that's another story :P

DR and batch rendering is just one instance where it does not work, it should be AFAIK possible to find more ;)

Eheh sure ;) that's a pity ...

Duplicate, hard to implement, but we will see what can be done...
