Hello,
Would someone, skilled with mxs and pretty available, develop a managing tool for Corona cameras ? we regularly use VRay Camera Manager (http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/vray-camera-manager (http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/vray-camera-manager)), and it's very useful. Since Corona now has its own cameras, maybe that would make sense ... what do you guys think ?
Regards.

Hello
Reading this together with your avatar somehow frightens me every time!

I would not need it for that single camera we usually have in a scene :)
Good Luck

Ahaha Bruce is shark, but a kind one !

Arf lucky you ... we NEVER have only one camera, the average is between 10-15, our biggest was 53 cameras in only one scene ... guess what, we are still looking for a perfect batch rendering solution as well ;)

53?!
yeah some people uses different workflow, they animate their only one camera and I assume they manage it using mxs.. simply a clever idea :)

Yes, we tried to it this way a while ago, but finally switched back to individual cameras ... not sure why, but we didn't find it very convenient for us. Maybe worth trying again though. Thanks for the reminder ;)

You need basically 2 important things to do it with one keyed Cam to make it easy:
1. A camera-lock toolbar script to avoid agry neighbours to f*-up all your cam keys by bouncing their head on the table because CoronaCam still does not shift correctly (especially usefull when having a 3D mouse)
2. All keys at frame 0 to be set to default values and position/rotation 0/0/0 So everytime you should forget to turn on Autokey you could always go to frame 0 and reset stuff
And now that we do not have to switch constantly between CoronaCameraMod and PhysicalCam for keying in the stack (using CoronaCam) it has become easy to operate.
Good Luck

yes, same here.. I tried it at some chances but finally given up because my habit is way too strong to break somehow haha
