Hello, I installed Changes in 2017-12-01
and is giving me these problems with textures
-
What OS are you on?
Was the scene created in a much older build? That can create errors/artifacts of all kinds. If so, merge the whole scene into a new scene in C4D and try rendering that.
I've updated to the most recent build and I'm not experiencing any issues similar to this.
-
my scene that is in process was created on 2017 -12-01 a few hours before installing the update.
I had to install again 2017-11-10 to solve the problem. since it is a job that I must deliver and do it all over again it would take time
-
I made another new scene, and I also had similar problems with the textures
-
So, how can we help you?
-
thanks friend, the problem was that I installed the last update of the program, and in a scene that was working that same day gave me problems with the textures.
I thought it was the scene, so I created a new one with other objects and textures, just like the problem in some textures as represented in the images above
-
Hi, I have the same problem too. After installing the update all the textures are seen correctly in the window but are rendered with higher dimensions.
-
Can you either share the scene through our private uploader (link in my signature) or create a simple scene, where you can reproduce the bug?
-
Hi Houska, I uploaded the file 1512407342_Texture.zip.
C4D R15 and macOS Sierra 10.12.
I found that the textures are rendered x100. Thank you.
-
I did something fast, a plane, light and texture.
The same thing gives me the problem with the texture.

Ok, since it has to be said:
1. NEVER switch versions when working on a project.
2. Use the latest stable(!) build.
3. If you didn't follow 1. and/or 2. , go back to those steps and follow them.
-
Does it mean that the latest version is not stable since it presents this problem with textures?

It is stable until you get problems.

I think you misunderstand my words.
1. I know that in a project you must work with the stable version
2. My intent to make this post is to publicize the various problems that are
they generate one or another update.
As we see I'm not the only one with this problem.
I think that this is what this community was created for ..... to evaluate the updates and help the construction of Corona with making known the failures
If I'm wrong, please correct me.
Thanks for your attention

Yes, this is exactly why we have forums, so thanks for all the reports!

The 7-12-2017 version resolves the issue...
-
It works, thanks.
