Title: Corona IES Problem with DR
Post by: thirdaesthetic on 2017-10-23, 09:58:49
Hi,

I have been noticing that we are getting random lines in our renders since updating to 1.7.7. I believe its the IES lights that cause the issue. You can see the faint lines in the attached image. I have checked gamma on all machines and assets are correctly linked. This has happened on two different projects now. Has anyone else had the same issue? I would love to see the back of this problem

Thanks

Mark

I can only guess right now, but it could be:
-some issue with IES indeed - maybe the file is not transferred to the nodes?
-an issue with our new light solver - you can download RC10 to check this, as it is disabled by default in there

We have just released Corona Renderer 1.7 Hotfix 1: https://corona-renderer.com/download/
It contains some important DR fixes, so please download and install it.
Please make sure that Corona Renderer 1.7 Hotfix 1 is installed on all computers, and that DR server 1.7 Hotfix 1 is running on all of the slaves.

If the issue will remain after installing this version, please contact us, and we will continue looking for a solution.
