Very interesting works! why is it so dark in places when light comes through the trees in others?

one question, how did you achieved the "foggy feel" on secon more colorful image?

I think that was due the dense scatter of trees and bushes plus high contrast in post. I tried to give a sense of enclosure.

I really can't answer with certain because I was testing distributed rendering so I had allot of stops and resumes.

It was a strange combination of bump settings and reflection values. I had to use real low values.
Still don't get why they were appearing with override material.

Night -      PT-HD default settings
close-up - PT-HD  PTS-32

We have just found out that MMTRA’s work “Room in the woods” has been awarded with Ronen Bekerman’s “Best visualization of the week” for the week No. 42 of 2013.
