Title: Looking for Corona Training
Post by: mb2487 on 2017-10-12, 14:29:29
Looking for a Corona Visualiser to train staff who currently visualise in Vray

We are looking for help in terms of possible training or consulting.

If anyone could help us by pointing us in the right direction or knows any individual who could offer these services.

Thanks

With workload we wouldn't be able to get a chance to be out of the office! Although we would love a visit to Prague.

Do you do online training by any chance?

No online training - the depth and content of the Academy training is such that it needs to be face to face, and we need that also to confirm that everyone has grasped the concepts in order to certify them. For online training, our focus is on our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/CoronaRenderer (https://www.youtube.com/CoronaRenderer)) and on our helpdesks (https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/home (https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/home) for 3ds Max, and https://help.c4d.corona-renderer.com/support/solutions (https://help.c4d.corona-renderer.com/support/solutions) for C4D).

If ever you do get a chance to visit us in Prague, that would be awesome! Also, as more people get certified through the Academy, there will be more courses offered all over the world from certified trainers - those courses are also listed on the Academy website, like the SOA course which is listed on the Academy home page taking place in Italy in December, along with a list of Certified Trainers if you want to contact any near you to see when they might be planning on setting up a course https://corona-academy.com/certified (https://corona-academy.com/certified).

I hope something here proves useful!

Do you have a list of any upcoming courses next year?

Thanks,

Nothing set yet for next year, sorry. We try to have the courses set and announced a month or two in advance, but earlier than that it can be hard to set a fixed timeframe (as it may be related to the Corona Renderer releases, for example). We are aiming to have one every quarter or so, if all goes to plan that means in December or January we'll be announcing one for sometime in the first 3 months of next year.

Hi Tom

What is the difference between your guys' Corona training and Corona course from SOA ?
Apart from duration of course

Ours looks at Corona itself, giving a look at its feature set and controls for rendering in general, no matter what kind of work you do with Corona Renderer. Also, you get to meet the team :)

The SOA courses are specifically about architectural visualization, so kind of "architectural visualization when using Corona Renderer" (I have never attended a SOA course, so base this on their course description). SOA are certified trainers of course, so you can be sure that all their information is accurate - they will be taking our information on using the render engine in general, and then expanding on that into arch-vis specific scenes, details and uses. I also believe that they cover general arch-vis information, looking at things like composition and other such topics that we don't cover.
