In MODO during progressive rendering, you can use mouse to point areas you want to update faster, a great option when you want to check a specific details.
Can this be implemented in Corona?
Thanks!

It's already in. It's called "Render Regions":
-
I know render regions, but it's not the same :)
I have recorded sample video.
-
You can create a small render region and move it interactively over the image...
-
You can move around a render region exactly like that, as a resizable brush to "paint in" areas of focus :) Once you have the render region the size you want, just click it and drag it around the image to paint in areas of interest.
-
Thanks guys, but it's not working for me :(
Please check out this movie.

It will only work with Interactive Rendering - naturally for a final render, it will only obey the render regions set before you render, and you can't move them around (you wouldn't want your final render shifting processing onto different parts as you'd get inconsistent results in a final). Click and hold on the Render option and use Start IR instead :)

This stopped working on the Mac around 5 builds ago.

Just to be sure, you mean this bug report thread?

Sounds about right. It will work if you already have a region defined and then start the render. It won't work if you move it around or create more regions as it is rendering.
