Title: Reflection pass (multipass)
Post by: Beanzvision on 2017-09-20, 11:20:26
Hi guys, I'm currently doing some product renders and have been adding my layers to the multipass, is there a way to render reflections to a transparent background? I've attached my reflection pass.

If I understand this correctly, you would use the shadowcatcher material here (it's in the works currently)...

I was afraid that was the case, Unfortunately my deadline is today. I guess photoshop will have to do it. ;)

Another thing you could do is use a frontal-projected texture of your background in the diffuse slot of the ground plane. That might do the trick for you!
