Title: V-Ray Convertor
Post by: Glorybound on 2017-09-03, 04:02:13
Newbie here and I have a conversion question. I am a V-Ray veteran and I have dabbled in Corona. The Corona converter tool is great, however, a lot of my materials come out super shiny. I mean, coaches shine like silver. Is there an easy fix for this or do I need to go into each shader and fix things?

Could you show converted Corona material's screenshot?

I've noticed this too. When we switched from VRay at work I converted our library and after a while I started noticing that everything is very shiny. It's especially noticable on 3d people, they look very plastic-y.

Check 999 freshnel IOR chechbox and change it for example to 1.54 or whatever

Check 999 freshnel IOR chechbox and change it for example to 1.54 or whatever

But this will clamp all of his metallic materials.

The converter is quite smartly done and shouldn't change specularity amount, just glossiness. Before/After screenshots would help to see how shiny something becomes.
