Hi. Got a huge problem or a bug, stuck on that, don't know what to do.
What I did:
I selected to render several frames (0,50,...) of animation, chosen a name for saving, "render.cexr", hit "Render".
What I expected:
As in VRay, several files in a folder: render0000.cexr, render0050.cexr, etc...
What I actually got:
Only one file "render.cexr" with the last rendered frame in it.
And the thing is, although in render window there's a title "renderXXXX.cexr" where XXXX is changing every frame, after each frame is rendered, it STILL saves it to the same "render.cexr" file which gets overwritten (I can see it in "modified" file property, it's being updated every moment new frame gets rendered).
How to save all rendered frames to separate cexr files?

Which version of Corona are you using? The file type should be cxr and not cexr (a change made a while back), and it's possible 3ds Max (if you are using Max) doesn't play nice with the four character extension, which was one of the reasons for changing to a 3 character extension.
Just tested here with the latest daily build, and I get the sequence of .cxr files as expected from a simple test animation, so I suspect it's the cexr extension that is the issue - let me know!

That was corona 1.5.1. I was interested in cexr, because I wanted to open them in corona later to do post-processing. Exr is not "corona", that was something like "exr open format", I wasn't sure that I can do postprocessing on it later. Does EXR make possible to make post-processing later?

Tom is talking about CXR not EXR :)

it is quite possible that this was a bug already fixed in 1.6.2 - can you try it out? We had some similar problems with this before
