Title: Custom Aperture map problem
Post by: Giona on 2017-07-14, 17:07:34
Hi everyone!
I'm testing some custom aperture maps to achieve particular bokeh effects, but I discovered a strange issue when using really large apertures (f1.2).
In the image below its clear that the bokeh generated by the aperture map looks shifted. Seems that the map has some offset applied, creating a repetition of the side of the map that was cutted.

If I use the standard circular or bladed aperture the effect is correct.

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks!

I tried on a super simple scene to manually offset the texture by -0.2, and this solve the problem.
But why I have to do this?

Ok, I already found a solution.
Insted using a CoronaBitmap to load the map, the standard bitmap loader works fine.

Anyway, I think there's a little bug in the coronabitmap...

Cheers
