Is there a new workflow for hair and fur in corona 1.7?
I am unable to derive the geometry source texture as a the diffuse for the hairs. It defaults as yellow colored hair that I am unable to change no matter what I attempt.
Does anyone know a solution to this? So far nothing has worked out.

H&F is not supported by hair material yet. AFAIK H&F on creation is assigned default hair material, which you can't alter much. You can plug some map in to H&F's root and tip colour slots and that will let you have some colouration, but i think it is tied with hair materials diffuse slot and not a melanine, so results aren't that good. We have to wait and hope for proper H&F support.

Yes, I did read about H&F not being properly supported, but didn't realize it also meant not properly deriving a pattern from the diffuse of the object.
I really hope they add proper support in upcoming updates, for now I will stick to 1.61 as I use the H&F quite often in my workflow.
