Title: Mirror/rotate VFB image
Post by: mtanasiewicz on 2017-06-29, 22:20:27
Hello there!

I think that a little option of mirroring the frame buffer during rendering, could be useful. I noticed that  my eye gets used to the image during long hours spent on project. After time i fail to realise obvious mistakes. It could have the same effect, like mirroring the image in photoshop, during PS work.

Cheers!

+1 Absolutely :- )

I asked Ondra this once and he mentioned it might not be that hard to do.

One more I would add is also to swap background colors from the default Dark Grey. Just like Mirroring, swapping the surrounding space from dark grey to light grey helps you better evaluate tonality of your image. The dark background makes everything appear more contrasty and saturated, which is good for controlled environment, but we mostly consumer image content on internet on white backgrounds.
I would also like this to be exactly as in Photoshop ( hope Maru isn't around the corner ).
