Hi,
My max has started behaving strangely and i cant figure out whats changed.
Whenever i load a bitmap it defaults to real world scale and when i uncheck the box it defaults to 0.001 tiling.
Its annoying as it happens every time i create a material. Any ideas how to stop this from happening every time?

Did you use UI and defaults switcher recently? Anyways, here's "the fix" for you: go to customize>preference>general>texture coordinates and uncheck use real world texture coordinates.
