Hi everyone,
I am very very new to thinking particles in 3dsmax, but I can't seem to get corona to render motion blur for it? is this not supported or am I doing something wrong?
I have attached a frame showing that the standard box works perfectly fine with Mblur, but the TP setup does not.
Thanks!

My guess is that these particles count as a single object with changing topology (number of vertices) and this is not supported for mblur:

Motion blur for particles is an essential thing however, so I am moving this to feature requests and will test this myself.

Thanks Maru,
And I believe you are absolutely correct, at least that's my experience so far, but I figured I would check.
Hopefully it's something we will see in 1.7

Snakebox, could you provide us with any (even very simple) TP scene you have? If so, please send it to support@corona-renderer.com We would test some things with it, including mblur support.

Hi Maru,
yes of course! I am away all weekend, but I will get this to you first thing next week, thank you!

Awesome, thanks a lot! I'll be waiting for your message.

Email and max file sent. :)
EDIT:
just as a followup I have attached a single frame from a quick test I did using Vray, and as we know and expected, TP6 is supported in Vray.

Hello! Nice topic...
I am also interested in motion blur when using TP, but cant understand if it works now.
Rendering 100 fountain sprays now, but seems it does not work. Camera and geometry motion blur set as on.
Shutter speed is 1/10 s
Should it work now?

No, changing topology is still not working with motion blur.
