Title: Denoise CXR via Standalone

Very excited about all the features 1.6 has introduced. Especially excited that I can save out CXRs and come back to adjust, export, play etc....

I am however experiencing a weird bug that is happening sporadically. Current workflow when rendering a lot of high res images is Render > save CXR > Load up CXR at some other time > play around with it > denoise > save out passes.

Frustratingly, every once in a while when denoisining I will receive a notice that it has failed because there are less than 2 render passes. These CXRs were saved with many more passes. If I proceed to load up a CXR that has previously worked, then open up the problematic one again, it will usually let me denoise. This happens all the time with region renders and the above solution doesnt work. In these cases, I have to resume the render back in Max and let it denoise in the VFB.

You mean that you are loading the cxr images in the Corona Image Editor, right?

Can you explain what you mean exactly with "region renders"? What kind of regions are these? 3ds Max or Corona ones? How exactly are you proceeding?

Yes, Loading CXR in Image Editor.
This happens when using Corona Regions. This issue does not occur if using MAX region.
Workflow when using regions: Start render, finish one pass. Set up 1+ regions. Delete the rendered image and hit render. Save out CXR. If I click stop, it will proceed to denoise the regions just fine. If I open up the rendered CXR in Image Editor, it will not recognize that there are more than 2 passes to denoise. It's not always advantageous to wait through the denoise in the VFB which is why the Image Editor has been an amazing addition.

The editor checks whether whole image, i.e. every its pixel, has at least 2 passes. That's why it complains. There are no passes outside the set up region. But you are right that VFB behaves differently in this case and the editor should behave the same way. I will fix it. Thank you.
