Title: [solved] Corona Bitmap vs 3ds Max Bitmap - dynamic range difference
Post by: petrorosengren on 2017-05-25, 14:21:32
Hello!

I was trying some HDRIs, and loaded the same HDRI into both Corona Bitmap and STD Bitmap, with different results in the renderer.
The setting seems to be the same to me, but why the different result?

Can you show picture examples, what is exact difference, that you're getting?

Sorry, forgot to write that.
Its a difference in brightness/light emitted.
Going for a picture now.

Update:
Maybe its not brighter, just sky rendering differently.
Rendered with physical camera, Corona Interactive (1.6)

Looks like something is heavily clipped here. Can you send any scene where this can be observed?

Turns out I'm just an idiot :) Corona one was the png loaded, not the hdri.

False flag!
