Not sure if this is bug. LightMix render element occasionally will not Denoise, all other parameters being the same.

Aren't you running out of RAM?
-
Keeps me eye on the 64GB ram...so nope
-
Although after stripping the scene down, LightMix consistently denoises. So, This is a fairly simple scene rendered at 4K, and 64GB isn't enough Ram?
or is there a way to 'denoise only' LightMix but not individual lightselect render elements?
-
Bit of disappointment, eliminated unnecessarily CoronaLightXX render elements. And still NO DENOISE? w/ 64GB and a lightweight scene...
Can anyone help with this problem?

Sorry for the delayed communication.
I have replied to your support ticket. Once we know what was causing the troubles, we will share the solution here too.
-
So it seems that the solutions would be:
1) Optimizing RAM usage - https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000023310
2) Rendering the image with no denoising, only with "gather data for later" denoising option, and performing the actual denoising in Corona Image Editor.

Disabling VFB during rendering will save RAM too

Yup, but probably not much. It's also listed in this guide: https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000675854

Turns out the 'Setup Interactive LightMix' defined some lights as 'Rest' so they were 'unassigned', meaning no DeNoising. Those were mixed w/ DeNoised elements and combined in LightMix appearing 'noisey'. CIE or VFB
The Real Culprit, CoronaLiightMtl is hard to resolve.

I can confirm this behavior, which I think is currently by design. The "Rest (unassigned)" LightMix element will not get denoised when using the LightMix.
I have reported this on Mantis, but I think we can leave this thread here as it is not in bug reporting section, and it may be helpful for other users.
Currently one workaround for this is using the ">Scene" button in LightMix to bake all changes into the scene, and then just denoise the beauty element.
