Title: Lighting
Post by: Gewiz90 on 2017-05-12, 05:12:28
Hey can anyone help me I find that every time I have a light fixture over a wooden table the table top looks washed out (blown out) and over exposed what's a good setting for such a light?

Did you try to lower intensity of the light or use highlight compression/filmic highlights in VFB or alter table material's diffuse/reflection? Maybe it's worth to attach picture example of your problem?

Well, I think that's how reflections work in real life. One possibility is to reduce reflection level of the wood material. If you are allowed to do it.
