Title: CoronaMix + Pin Light = 3ds max or Corona Bug?
Post by: cecofuli on 2017-05-05, 18:57:23
Hello, as you can see, there are a differences between CoronaMix and Composite when they are, both, in Pin Light blending mode.
All other modes match perfectly!

But, I tried to do the same in Photoshop and, surprise, the result is identical to Corona.
So, is it a 3ds max bug?

It could as well be Photoshop bug. ;)

I guess it all comes down to what you define as "pin light".

" it all comes down to what you define as "pin light"." Sorry, but I didn't understand.
If Corona and PS give us the same result, I think that is something wrong behind the 3ds math.  =)

And that's why you decided to report it on Corona forum, but not on Autodesk's ;]

Because, when I started to write this thread, I thought that it was a Corona bug.
Then, I have realized that maybe, it could be a 3ds max bug. So, I tried the same "experiment" inside Photoshop.
I didn't want to delete the thread. Maybe it can be useful for someone =)
